Survey of capacity for NRL core functions and collaborative research activities in EURGen-Net (2025)

The EURL-PH-AMR invited members of EURGen-Net to complete a survey on the current capacity for public health laboratory core functions and engagement in collaborative research activities related to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the priority pathogens (CCRE, CRAb, CRPa). The replies of the survey will be used to plan and develop EURL-PH-AMR support activities and collaborative research studies for the coming years. Information is collected on the following areas:

Phenotypic antimicrobial susceptibility testing

  • External quality assessments (EQAs) and proficiency testing (PT) exercises
  • Genotypic testing for priority pathogens, current NRL/NEL practices, capacity and priorities
  • Current research needs, existing capacities and ongoing cross-border collaborative research

Moreover, we ask the respondents to rate the importance of various capacity building support activities. The deadline has been extended to 21 July 2025 and can be accessed at Survey of capacity for NRL core functions and collaborative research activities in EURGen-Net - 2025.
