The European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare (EUP AH&W) is a research and innovation initiative that the European Commission (EC) has co-funded to contribute to control infectious diseases of animals, and to promote animal welfare and sustainable food production. Launched in 2024, the partnership brings together over 90 entities from 24 countries across Europe and is expected to last over seven years and form the basis for long-term collaboration and impact.
