Purpose
The department handles prediagnostic functions and assists with general administrative tasks, process optimization and communicative relations for Diagnostic Infectious Disease Preparedness.
Tasks
Prediagnostic functions and operations
- Reception and processing of all diagnostic, surveillance and reference samples sent to Statens Serum Institut
- Operation and support of laboratory information management system (HLIMS and VETLIMS)
- Setup of and changes to diagnostic analyses
- Code list maintenance (NPU codes, MDS codes and local codes)
