Purpose

The department handles prediagnostic functions and assists with general administrative tasks, process optimization and communicative relations for Diagnostic Infectious Disease Preparedness.

Tasks

Prediagnostic functions and operations

• Reception and processing of all diagnostic, surveillance and reference samples sent to Statens Serum Institut
• Operation and support of laboratory information management system (HLIMS and VETLIMS)
• Setup of and changes to diagnostic analyses
• Code list maintenance (NPU codes, MDS codes and local codes)

Administration

• Customer contact
• Price registration
• Sales statistics
