Christian Holm Hansen

Christian Holm Hansen is a statistician and epidemiologist in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Prevention at Statens Serum Institut (SSI), Denmark, and an Associate Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK.

At SSI, Christian’s work focuses on COVID-19 epidemiology and analyses of vaccine effectiveness. He is also a member of SSI’s Global Health Forum and contributes to HIV prevention research and infectious disease epidemiology in sub-Saharan Africa, including randomised controlled trials of vaccine candidates.

Research interests: infectious disease epidemiology, international health, clinical trials, statistical modelling.
