One Health Event 2026 at Statens Serum Institut

In celebration of the annual #OneHealthDay, Statens Serum Institut (SSI) will organise a One Health Event on 5 November 2026.

One Health is an approach based on an understanding that the health of humans, health of animals and our shared environments are interconnected and interdependent. Many current and future health challenges, including those linked to climate change, require collaboration across sectors, disciplines and country borders.

For the 2026 One Health Event at SSI, we will focus on climate, health and One Health, and discuss how One Health approaches can support preparedness, surveillance and collaboration across sectors, disciplines and countries. The event will include thematic presentations and discussion on European perspectives, One Health surveillance, and the practical implementation of One Health in relation to climate-sensitive and emerging health threats.

The event is organised by Statens Serum Institut, with support from the EU4Health co-funded OH4Surveillance project. It aims to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, exchanging perspectives and strengthening collaboration across sectors, disciplines and countries.

The event is open to everyone with an interest in One Health, climate and health, surveillance, preparedness, zoonoses and cross-sectoral collaboration.

The event will take place at Statens Serum Institut, Artillerivej 5, 2300 Copenhagen, and it will be in English. It is free to participate, but registration is required.

Please register your participation by the latest on the 23rd of October 2026.
