The statisticians at the Department of Epidemiology Research
More than 10 statisticians are employed and contribute with statistical expertise at the Department of Epidemiology Research.
Statistics is an essential part of epidemiological research. In cooperation with the other researchers, the primary role of the statisticians is to ensure that the research projects of the department are founded in up-to-date designs and statistical methods that adequately answer the scientific questions and highlight strengths and limitations.
A highly educated statistician is involved in the research process from start to finish and is responsible for the statistical analysis in almost all of the projects of the Department of Epidemiology Research. We strongly emphasize continuous knowledge sharing and education.
