Purpose

The purpose is to ensure that maintenance, renovation and design of buildings of the Institute’s utility units and facilities etc. are performed on a sound energy and safety basis. The administration of Statens Serum Institut's (SSI) building mass is carried out according to the principles of space, facility, utility and supply management.

Section of Environment, Health and Safety

SSI's section for Environment, Health and Safety is organizationally placed in Campus. The section is responsible for tasks relating to the environment, occupational health and safety (biological, chemical as well as physical) and emergency preparedness and response.
