SSI does not advise citizens about private health and disease-related matters, including vaccination. If you contact SSI by e-mail or phone, we will refer you to your doctor or a vaccination clinic. Your doctor can contact SSI.
SSI does not advise about or respond to:
- which vaccinations you should get when travelling
- which vaccinations you or your child have gotten earlier
- questions regarding diagnoses and treatment
Read more about childhood vaccination and travel vaccination. In the Danish vaccination register at www.sundhed.dk, you can see which vaccinations you and your child have gotten.
If you decide to contact SSI, please write us safely through www.borger.dk. This way, we can make sure that your personal data does not end up in the wrong hands – and conversely, we can be sure that the e-mail is from you.

Reception
Monday-Friday: 7.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
Office hours
Monday-Thursday: 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Friday: 9.00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.
In case of a serious quality complaint which may lead to an urgent recall of medicinal products manufactured by Statens Serum Institut, we can be contacted outside opening hours at phone: +45 4131 7404.
Guest access
You can collect a guest pass in the reception. Please note that our parking lot is located at SSI.
